Buhm Jung Roe has over 40 years of experience in real estate ownership, acquisition, management, development and construction of numerous residential and commercial properties in New York City. He has extensive private real estate fund managing experience and has syndicated and successfully completed multiple projects in New York City. In addition, he has solid development and construction experience from residential and commercial buildings to luxury condominium buildings from the ground up. Buhm Jung Roe graduated from Seoul National University in Seoul, Korea.

John Roe | Principal

​

John Roe is the Co-Founder of New York Immigration Fund and Roe Corporation. He provides strategic leadership, investment direction, and operational oversight for both companies.

 

John brings over 25 years of experience as a principal investor in the development, financing, and management of properties throughout New York City. The Roe Real Estate family office has been involved in the ownership of New York City real estate for over 40 years.

 

John has extensive experience in real estate investment and development, spanning residential and commercial projects from acquisition through completion. He plays a key role in the companies’ investment decisions and development processes. John has directed and overseen the investment of approximately $1 billion of capital into $5 billion of real estate projects in the New York City metropolitan area.

 

He is instrumental in the negotiation and structuring of each deal. John’s strong local knowledge of the New York City real estate market, combined with his attention to detail, enables him to lead a team of professionals who partner with New York Immigration Fund and Roe Corporation to deliver consistent results.

 

A lifelong New Yorker, John holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University.

Robert Roe | Principal

Robert Roe focuses on originating the Fund’s mezzanine and preferred equity investments in various property types. In addition, he also expands and maintains relationships with investors, foreign migration partners, and borrowers. 

Robert has over 20 years of local experience in real estate ownership, acquisition, management, development and construction of numerous residential & commercial properties in New York City. 
 
Robert was born and raised in New York City. Prior to working at New York Immigration Fund, Mr. Roe evaluated risk in various IPOs and Biotech IPOs throughout the world for AIG. He graduated from Stuyvesant High School and New York University.

Louis Katsos | Executive Vice President of Construction

 

Louis Katsos has over 35 years of experience in the New York Real Estate and Construction Management market. A known leader in the industry in New York he has for over 30 years held senior executive positions with major firms including serving as the Executive Vice President of Tishman Construction Corp. and Chief Operating Officer as well as President of his own firm Jekmar Associates, Inc. a consulting firm to New York Developers.. As Project Executive he has built over 10 million square feet of High Rise buildings and as a Corporate Executive managed the construction of millions more. He holds a B.E. in Civil Engineering and an M.B.A. and is a professor at the Chanin School of Architecture at Cooper Union.​

Arun Nanda | Partner & Vice President of India Operations

Arun Nanda is an entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience as a Business Administrator and Management Analyst, specializing in Immigration Law. He is the owner and president of Astoria Management Consultants Inc, a management consulting firm specializing in various aspects of business including marketing, administration, market research, identification and implementation of software needs. Under his leadership, the company has developed and launched revolutionary web-based EB5 and Regional Center specific specialty immigration case management software, entitled 'VisaMagix'.
